Express air freight books priority space on the next available flight — the fastest option for urgent, high-value cargo. Consolidated air freight groups your goods with other consignments on scheduled services, so you keep air-speed transit at a lower rate when your shipment can flex by a day or two. As a rule of thumb, when time is critical express wins; when cost matters more than a day, consolidated is the better value.
Priority express typically clears in 1–3 business days on major lanes, while consolidated air freight runs 3–6 days as shipments are grouped for better rates. Actual transit depends on flight frequency, customs clearance and final-mile distance. We confirm a routing with cut-off times before every booking, so you know the delivery window in advance.
Airlines charge on chargeable weight — the greater of the actual gross weight and the volumetric weight (length × width × height in cm ÷ 6000). Light, bulky cargo is billed on volume; dense cargo on actual weight. We calculate both up front, so your quote reflects the real chargeable weight with no surprises at the airport.
Most commodities fly with the right paperwork, including many dangerous goods — lithium batteries, aerosols and flammables — when declared and packed under the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations. Some items are restricted or prohibited by the airline or destination country. Send us your commodity and we’ll confirm eligibility, packaging and the declarations you need before booking.
